How do you determine if a relation is a function?
If you are given a graph, how can you determine if it is a function?
What is the domain of a Function?
What is the range of a Function?
Lines
What is the slope of a line?
What is the formula used to find the slope given two points on the line?
What form would you use to write the equation of a line given a slope and a y-intercept?
What form would you use to write the equation of a line given a slope and a point or given two points?
What is the relationship involving slopes of parallel and perpendicular lines?
What kind of line has a zero slope and how do you write the equation of the line?
What kind of line has an undefined slope and how do you write the equation of the line?
Graphs
What are the 6 common functions? What do their graphs look like?
Describe vertical and horizontal shifts. Does the vertical shifts affect the x or the y value? Does the horizontal shifts affect the x or y value?
How do you know when an original, or parent, graph is reflected?
How do you know if a transformation is a vertical stretch?
How do you know if a transformation is a vertical Shrink?

Welcome to Ms. McGuire's classes

All classes will be sharing this blog.

I look forward to working with each of you as we strive for success in Algebra 3 and Advanced Algebra/Trig.
